Donation FAQs

  • You can choose from the following methods to make your donation:

    1. UPI (Unified Payments Interface)

    • Transaction Fee: No transaction fee.

    • Notes: This is the most preferred method for donations. You can pay with any UPI payment service by scanning the QR code in the form. Please note that the QR code will appear when you enter a minimum of ₹500 in the amount section of the form. Additionally, please upload a screenshot or photo of your payment for our easy reference.

    2. Bank Transfer (IMPS | NIFT | RTGS)

    • Transaction Fee: Usual bank charges apply.

    • Notes: Bank details such as account number and IFSC code are provided in the form. Please ensure to provide the correct details for a smooth transfer. Also, remember to upload a screenshot or photo of your payment for our easy reference.

    3. Cheque

    • Notes: Please make the cheque payable to our organization and include your details on the back. All details for the payable option and the address for posting the cheque are provided in the form. We kindly ask you to upload a photo of your cheque for our easy reference.

    4. Razorpay Payment Gateway

    • Payment Methods: Pay using UPI, debit and credit cards, or online bank transfer.

    • Transaction Fee: A 2% convenience fee + GST will be charged.

    • Notes: This option provides flexibility but incurs additional charges.

  • For every donation option you choose, please fill out our donation form with the following information:

    • Name

    • Contact Number

    • Email Address

    • PAN (Permanent Account Number) for tax exemption purposes

  • Yes, Scigram is tax-exempt under the Income Tax Act of India, holding both 12A and 80G certificates. This means that donors to the Scigram can claim tax benefits on their donations.

  • Yes, you will receive a Form 10BE receipt within 10 days of your payment. This receipt is essential for tax exemption and record-keeping.

  • Providing your PAN is crucial for tax exemption purposes. It allows us to issue you a valid receipt that you can use when filing your taxes.
